I don’t remember exactly when it all began, but bit by bit it’s starting to make sense – at least to myself. For I believe everybody needs a goal or something like that in life. And my goal is to visit all metropolises all over the world which kind of interest me. These may vary from time to time and sometimes you might wonder why I chose them, but I will try and explain my motives to you. While reading about me visiting some place you might even develop a sudden urge to pack your own bag and jump on board a plane, a train, your car, your bike or just start walking and then tell me about your own trip … Well, mission accomplished!

Being European (German to be exact) without very close relatives anywhere abroad and quite lame parents according to the topic “travelling” my first memory of a holiday outside Germany is Venice. I was 11 when my mum and a friend took me with them to Italy and I still can remenber how fascinated I have been. Graduation trips to London and Prague, student exchanges with Italy and Great Britain, and I was hooked on it! There may be other people who have travelled much more than me, people with much more experience, and much more language skills, but that doesn’t bother me. I’m just a girl who is going to stick to her metropolitan plan.
